Initiating the Momentum!

Our first meetings took place on March 19^th, 2014 at 6 pm at in the Mt Carmel Life Center. Since then we have consistency met every Monday. The first meeting we discussed the general overview of the project, and discussed how important dedication was to the final outcome. The more we met the more specific we got on ideas for the project. Between the Florida group we have discussed placing instruments in the balloon to test pressure, temperature, attitude (longitude and latitude). We have contacted the Spain team using Facebook chat. We have been doing intense research on the Payload and the different layers of the atmosphere and how the balloon will possibly interfere with. We are trying to make decisions based on the effectiveness of the weather balloons performance and especially based on the desired height we would like the payload. We have been communicating through Facebook but we would really like to have a set time where we talk twice a week on Google plus with our team in Spain and to formally meet. We have tried to coordinate a few times but the time difference is definitely taking its toil. But we will succeed!
